Colourlab Workshop #2/2013: Quality and Art

The workshop is open to GUC and Colourlab faculty and students and external participants. The Colourlab Workshop takes place in G303 Thursday 24/10/13 at 11:00 – 14:00.

13:00 Shoji Tominaga (Chiba University), Extraction of Artist’ Color Features of Art Paintings and its Application to Color Image Correction

Liuan Xing recently finished her PhD at NTNU where she was affiliated with Q2S, the SFF Center for Quantifiable Quality of Service in Communication Systems. Before that she received a Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology from the Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing.

Shoji Tominaga recently retired after a long and successful career as a professor at the University of Chiba in Japan, but he is still working with them as a researcher.  He has been with the Colourlab for two months now as a CIMET Visiting Scholar.
